Job Description |
| The Pharmacy Services Coordinator serves as a team leader to centralize and track prescription
fulfillment activities between Caremerica Specialty Pharmacy and the various clinics and
hospitals that Caremerica partners with. This salaried position reports to the Manager of
Clinical Services and involves providing a team leadership role to assigned team members.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: |
1) Centralize the Flow of Prescription Order Fulfillment:
- Take charge of new, refills, and transfer of prescription orders from health care
providers and patients in collaboration with the Pharmacy Department
- Oversee Patient Relations Representatives in the enrollment of and engagement of
patients into specialty services.
- Oversee Pharmacy Benefits Representatives in obtaining insurance prior
authorization, patient assistance programs, etc.
- Follow-up on the delivery of filled prescription orders with the Pharmacy Technician
Liaisons and Delivery Coordinators.
- Track the flow of orders.

2) Serve as Primary Interface to Health Care Providers for Prescription Orders
- Report prescription order fulfillment activities to health care providers on a regular
Liaison between the Pharmacist Team and health care providers when needed.
- Respond to health care provider inquiries regarding prescription orders.
- Consult with health care providers to resolve prescription order problems.
- Maintain excellent relationships with health care providers.

3) Lead the Pharmacy Services Team:
- Under the direction of the Coordinator of Pharmacy Services, provide team
leadership to Patient Relations Representatives, Pharmacy Benefits Representatives,
and Pharmacy Technician Liaisons.
- Coordinate team work flow to ensure efficient and effective service performance
- .
Report Performance: Collect team service delivery performance data and organize
into reports to the Manager of Pharmacy Services.

4) Establish an effective and collaborative working relationship with the Pharmacy Department
and Marketing Team.

Job Description |
| The Manager of Pharmacy Services shall have responsibility for the specialty services division. Thisincludes directing service delivery activities and providing leadership to multiple teams and specialty
pharmacy related services to health care providers and their patients. This is a salaried position that
